    ehm, how can i determine to what Faction Horde or Alliance the Quest belongs to. The faction_id field isn't helpfull I think maybe the flags field?!

    I've never found a way via WDB's, nor has Allakhazam. See if the flags differ between horde/alliance of the same question, and let us know :)

    no there is no way to differ using the flags, you have to do it with a game addon using the gossip functions (see wowwiki.com)
